Centennial Arts Academy PTA General Meeting/ Curriculum Night Minutes of September 14,2006     The September PTA meeting was held on September 14, 2006 at Centennial Arts Academy.  The meeting began at 7:00 p.m.   Sheli Jones welcomed everyone to the meeting and introduced her executive board.  She discussed having a “Cookbook fundraiser.”   Cooper Embry went over the budget.  He also discussed the computer fund and reported that the PTA has raised $35,000.   Mrs. Gilliam reported on the new computer lab and invited parents to stop by and visit the lab.   Mrs. Koskovich explained the Birthday Books program for the media center. Parents may donate $15 for a book honoring their child for his/her birthday.   She reported that $80 has already been collected.    Elizabeth Embry reported on the Jaxco fundraiser.  Extra order forms can be found in the office.    The meeting was adjourned and parents were invited to visit their child’s classroom.
